Congratulations go out to Jayne Snell and her associates who organized and choreographed the Fashion Show staged afternoon and evening in Memorial Hall on April 9. It was sponsored by both Bainton’s Old Mill and the Old Mill in the Country, and one of its rewarding aspects was that the entire proceeds went to the theatre’s Capital Fund. The audiences thoroughly en joyed the vibrant colours of the Old Mill’s costumes modelled, the modern music, the drills and dance stepping on stage. They enjoyed, too, the buffet served at intermis sions and the generous number and quality of the door prizes donated by theatre enthusiasts from adjacent towns and villages. Just to think that Blyth villagers could view a professional fashion production just a few blocks away from their homes! Snell’s Grocery Limited BLYTH 523-9332 CAVALIER FINE, AUTO. OR REG.
