Salaries, travel of councillors tabled A list of salaries and fees for attending county council meeting and committee meetings, of per diems while travelling a nd conven tion and other expenses was tabled at Huron County Council’s Febru ary meeting. The list, it was pointed out by Russell Kernighan, Reeve of Col- borne, is not completely accurate since it includes in convention expenses only those expenses that were re-imbursed directly to the councillor and does not include convention registration or travel expenses the county paid directly. Bill Hanly, county administrator, said other neighbouring counties seemed to be using this system so Huron had switched to it, even though, he admitted, it could be misleading. The payments, including re muneration (first figure), conven tion and other expenses (second figure) and total (final figure) for 1987 were: Leona Armstrong, Grey, $4,369.24, 1,050.02, 5,419.26; Robert M.
