before. These are the financial
impact On Gray Coach if it loses the
profitable routes, and whether
Gray Coach would have to cut
service on shorter routes to smaller
centres as a result. On 'the latter
point Gray Coach has already
announced cuts.
A bill to regulate funeral
directorS and their services in
Ontario received approval in prin-
ciple this week. The bill would set
up committees to deal with
complaints from the public.
The Ontario Government is
planning to close most • of its
provincially operated campsites
and lease the rest to private
operators.
In 1975, 1,617,707-people used
the 21,000 .campsites in the .1.22
provincial parks.
The new policy, announced by
Natural Resources Minister Leo
Bernier, will start taking effect next
summer."

Died Suddenly
At His Home
JERRY CRANSTON
Jerry Cranston, a Belfast area
farmer, died suddenly on Thurs-
day, December 9th at his home,
due to a heart 'attack.
Jerry was born on January ,28,
1916; the son .of Isaac ,Cranston and
the former Margaret Lasenby.'
On June 18, 1941, he married.
Cora Thompson, who survives, •
along with a son' Ivan of Ashfield,
on the, home farm, and- a daughter
Leone of Mount ForeSt; his
daughter-in-law Gail Cranston and
granddaughter Danielle Cranston.
He is also survived by a brother
Keith of Ashfield and sisters, Mrs.
Norman (Nellie) Kerr of Kitchener,
Mrs. 'Harold (Mary) Hackett of
Montreal and Mrs. Agnes Durnin
of Sarnia.
Jerry was a member of Trinity
United Church and chairman oche
board of stewards. He was a
member of Dungannon L.O.L. 324.
The funeral 'service was Decem-
ber 11 at 2 p.m. froth MacKenzie
Meinorial Chapel in Lucknow, with'
Rev. A. • Cook of Trinity United'
Church in charge of the service and
Mrs., Toni Pritchard as organist.
Pallbearers were Howard Blake,
Russel Irvin, Blake Alton, Reg
Broome, Gordon Kirkland and Cliff
Kilpatrick. '
Flower bearers were Murray
Krajaefski, Bob Dodkins, Brian
Cranston and Ron McCrostie.
