We wish to welcome 3 new
residents to our home, namely.
yam, .Anna Marie Klein from the
Kilda:jay area* Mrs. Beatrice
Powell from Walkerton and • Mrs.
Julie Watson from the Paisley area.
The month of November seemed
very busy with lots of activity. The
Teeswater United Church Women
pot on the monthly birthday party
on November 2nd at Zpait. There
were eleven residents with birth- •
days. Mrs. Lorna MeKagne was
the M.C. and- started off the
program with a sing song. The
twit number was a violin selection
by' Kerb Duffy with Mrs. 'Jessie
Howell on the piano. Mrs. Howell
continued with a the playing of
several old numbers,- such as
Bicycle Built for Two, Roaming in
the Gloaming, My Wild Irish Rose
and When Irish Eyes are Smiling.
Mr. Duffy then delighted us with
several violin selections and at
Conclusion the ladies had , our
birthday residents come to the
(Tont and each was given a lively
gift. Everyone then sang "Happy
Birthday" to them and with the
serving of ice cream, cake and tea a
,most enjoyable, afternoon was.

On Tuesday, November 9th the
Resident's Council met at 10.30
a.rh. in the Tuck Shop area for their
monthly meeting. At 2.15 in the
afternoon The Day Care children, 3
and 4 year olds came and presented
the residents with a short program.
The children then served cookies
and Juice to the residents.
The Senior ,Citizen's Club of
Ripley invited our residents to a
special program they were having
on November 12th.- Twenty-eight
of our residents went by bus and
each and everyone enjoyed it
thoroughly. Reg 'Moore was M,C.
and he certainly made everyone
most welcome. Mrs. Eliza Cavill
was celebrating a birthday that day'
and Reg announced it and everyone
sang "Happy. Birthday".
On Noyernber 18th the C.W.L. of
Walkerton arranged their monthly.
euchre: Mrs. Hilda Farrell and Mr.
Angus McAllister won the high
prizes and Mrs. Sarah McTeer and
Mr. Bill Hields the low prizes.
The C.W.L. of TeeSwater put on
a dance for our residents. Mary
Lynn and Allan Kieffer, accompan-
ied by Mrs. Margaret Murphy on
the piano, provided the music.
Two girls, Margaret Kennedy and
Donna Cronin, two bailer pupils,
did the Mexican Hat Dance and the
Trish Trash which 'Was certainly
I enjoyed by our residents. There
were spot dances, wheelchair
prizes and also a prize .for the,
oldest lady' and gentleman present.
Martha and Earl Heywood made
their annual visit to' our home on
Tuesday, November 23rd at 7 p.m.
They played Many requests for our
residents, and Earl amused , us with
his magic tricks.
On Wednesday evening, Novem,
ber 28,. the Chesley Group came
and presented a' musical .program.
Rev. Rock of the Baptist Church
:acted as M.C. Lincoln Leudke
played two selections on the violin,
"Maple Sugar" •and the "Crooked
Stove Pipe". Keith Elder accom-
panied by his wife and Lloye Watke
sang, "One' Day at a Time", and
"I'll Ely Away". LIoye Watke then.
took her accordian and played
"Road to the Isle" and "Just a
Wee Dock in Doris". Harold. Dobie
played "Release Me", and "Blue
Eyes Crying in .the Rain" on his
guitar. " Roy Shimskie played
"Yellow , Rose of Texas" and
"Camp Down Races" on the banjo.
Harold Dobie then concluded the
program with a guitar selection.
"What a friend we have in Jesus",
and one of our residents. Mrs. Nora
Fischer, ' sang along.
The • Ladies Auxiliary of the
Legion tame for their monthly
bingo Under the convenorship of
Mrs. Verna Clancy. The prizes
consisted of lovely trays of fruit.
We had mass in our chapel on
November 22nd, and also the
anointing. Father Culliton of the
.Cargill and Chepstow , parish .and
Father Dentinger ,of FormoSa
assisted Father Newstead.
The Gideons have service twice a
month, 'the first Tuesday and third
Friday. •
Rev. Ferris. minister of St. Thos.
Anglican. Walkerton had prayer
service. TueSday evening. Novem-
ber 16th at 7 p.m. and Communion
Service on Tuesday. November 23
at 10.30 a.m. •

Our sympathy is extended to the,

passed away during this month.
