After Supper, Lion Tail Twister

for serving the delicious, meal and
Mrs. Mary .Culbert for making the
attractive centre-piece for the head
table. Past president Rod MacDon-
ald proposed a toast to the Lions
Ladies in appreciation of their,
support , in all club projects,„ Mrs.
Marj' Hodge replied on behalf of
the ladies.

to Sri enjoyable close.
The Lucknow and District Leo
Club held their regular meeting on
December 8 at 7.30 p.m. in the
town hall. the business was
diScussed and then Milte McDon-
agh and Joan Htnilton led the
initiation of the new members
which went over very well.
For the new term the executive
stands as follows: president,
Wayne Bell; vice president, Mea
Peterson; secretary, Karen Camp-
bell; treasurer, Ron Johnson; board
of directors. Rick" onley and Kevin
Cowan.
The Lucknow Leo's appreciate
the work. a& Paul Ackert, past
president and Susan Brooks, past
secretary for their good rob. They
also appreciated the contribution of
Chris Lee of Walton, Pete Grazier
,and Jim Beasly of Lucknow for
entertaining with a film on
Moto-Cross,. which the members
found very interesting.
The next meeting wilt be held
December 22 at 7.30 p.m. in the
town, hall..

Lucknow, India Enroute Home
New Zealand and for the past six
months working and travelling
throughout Australia.
Now' the homeward trek begins •
and will basically consist of • an'
overland journey from Darwin,
Australia uti through Indonesia,
Southeast Asia, Asia Minor and
finally Europe, going from Greece
up to England, flying home in
April, 77.
As a' point , of interest to the
Lucknow people, we plant to visit
the "other" Lucknow in northern -
India on the way.

Separate School,' Kingsbridge Was

in second and third place. There
were twenty-two students taking
part in this division.
First place winners each received
$10.00, second and third S8.00 and
S7.00 in each class.

Christinas Concert put on by the
junior classes at Lucknow Central .
Public School.
The program was held on Friday
night before a packed auditorium.
Prior, to the presentation. some
members of the LuCknow School
Band provided musical entertain-
went.
