Former Resident Died A# Age 59 AucE LEITH Miss Alice Leith, age 59, of Listowel passed away at University Hospital, London on Tuesdiy, November 23. She hod been hospitalized , for the past three months. Alice was born at Blyth on March 28, 1917, a daughter of John H, Leith and. Susan Livermore. The Leith family moved to Lucknow where Alice spent her school years, In 1940 they moved to Hamilton. - She is survived by two brothers, George Leith of Listowel and Jack Leith of Clearwater, Florida. She was predeceased by her parents and one brother Greg Leith. Miss Leith was a member of Cahrary United Church, Listowel. The funeral •service was held at' the Robert' Trench Funeral Home, Listowel. Day when the teachers go to school. Brookside staff spent part of the, morning exploring ideas for developing listening skills. A 'film strip was shown followed by discussion. Then teachers met in smaller groups for unit planning. A pot-luck dinner was enjoyed at noon and the afternoon was spent in individual-lesson plannkg. The teachers were happy to welcome Miss Vianne Trezise, French teacher, who underwent back surgery in. London two weeks ago. She may be under doctor's care for the next three month s before'she can return to the classroom.
