(Donnie) MacDonald hi Ripley on
the week-end. Mr. and Mrs.
Gordon Finlayson of Lochaish were
also visiting with them on Satur-
day.
Ripley folks are glad to learn that
Ms, Dave Murray is' back from
Kincardine HospitaL Grace re-
tuned home on Sunday and fiends
wish her continued recovery.
Last Saturday the wedding
Mary Forster, daughter of Mr, and
Mrs. Walter Forster, and
Lazarevlch of Brantford was held in
St. Andrews United Church in
Ripley'' with Rev. James Bushell
officiating,
Miss Andrea Farlinger visited in
Owen Sound •for the week-end.
John and Janet Fludder, Dawn and
Brent have recently moved Into
their new home on WILLIAM
Street. Last Saturday John and.
Linda Pitterson moved from their
apartment on Malcolm street into
the Harold Wyld's house where
John and Jan had been living.
Well, for two days on the
week-end, Friday, and Saturday,
rain squalls had melted the snow
and the green grass of home was
again a welcome sight. However,
on Sunday the landscape was white
with snow. It was nice to hear the
sound of the church bells seunding
across the village on Sunday
morning, despite the wintry chill on
the air outside.
Recently Mr. and Mrs. Cote and
family, who have lived in the
apartment over Mrs, Grace
Carruther's grocery store, moved
into their new home on William
Street. Mrs. Elaine Cote is the
clerk in Mrs.Varruther's store. To
those who do pot live in this area,

is community curling and local
minor hockey. Last Saturday, from
early morning, cars were parked at
the Ripley Curling Arena and at. the
Ripley Huron Community Centre
Complex.
Mrs. Sylvia Meurs of the fourth
concession of Huron township
recently returned home from Grand
Rapids, Michigan. Mrs. Meurs
was a patient there for eight weeks
in Pine Rest Christian Hosptal.

Donald of Ripley entered Kin-
cardine and District hospital
where he is a patient, reportedly
receiving treatmenik, for a heart
ailment.
Wayne and Sharon Hardy and
family of Toronto visited with her
aunt, Mrs. Nora Frederilsen in
Ripley, and at the Allan Wyld
farms on the sixth concession West
this past week-end.
Dianne MacKay of the Univer-
sity of Guelph and Carol MacKay of
Western University in London were
home for the week-end.
