A buffet dinner patty was, held at
4 o'dock at the Pr..kyterian
Church on Sunday, November 14 to
celebrate the 90th birthday of Mrs.
Cyril Campbell of Ludmow.
The party was'arranged by Mrs.
Campbell's family.
Those attending were relatives
from Allenford, Ripley, Kikhener,
London, St. Marys and Lucknow.
Mrs. Campbell's immediate neigh-
hours were also guests.
Many lovely gifts and good
wishes were received by 'Mrs.

of Donald's mother, Mrs. John
(Elsie May) McKenzie 'at the
Alexandra Marine and General
Hoipital in Godetich on Thursday.
November 18 in her 84th year.
Mrs. McKenzie has been a resident
at Huronview. Besides her. son
Donald, she is survived by one
daughter Mrs. Kathleen Stewart of.
London, one brother George
Dougherty of Sheppardton. 4 /
grandchildren and 2 'great grand-
children. Her body tested at the
Stiles Funeral Home in. Goderich
after 2 p.m. on Saturday. Funeral
Service was held on Sunday.
November 21 at 2 p.m. with
interment in the Dungannon cem-
etery.

KINGSBRIDGE NEWS
Apprcixiniately 150 persons at-
tended the Introductory Workshop
held at the Brookside Public School
on Monday evening, November 15.
On behalf of the members of
council, Reeve Warren Zinn wel
comed everyone and introduced the
representative from the Ministry of
Housing and Gary Davidson,
Huron County Planner. He also
introduced members of Colborne
Township who were present.
Donald Simpson announced that
the Ashfield Council were uncon-
tested. The returnees are: Reeve,
Warren rum; Deputy Reeve,
Finlay MacDonald; Councillors,
John Austin, Grant Famish and
Allan Gibson; HuronsCounty Board
of Education, Mrs. Marian Tann;
Huron-Perth Separate School
Board, William Kinahan. h4r. Gary
Davidson, Huron County planner, -
showed slides and Maps of zoning
areas of the Ashfield area. A grant
from the Ministry of Housing of
$5,810. will assist the Township of
Ashfield and the planning board in
preparing official plans and zoning
by-laws. The total cost will be
approximately S14,480.00 At this

Sincere sympathy is also extend-

on the passing of their mother,
Nits, Edward (Rosemary) Thom at
the Wm,gham and District General
Hospital. on Thursday, November
18. Her body rested at the
MacKenzie Memorial Chapel in
Lucknow where funeral service was
held on Saturday, November 20th
at 2 p.m. with , interment in
Greenhill Cemetery, LuCknow.
Wilfred Austin was admitted to
the Alexandra Marine and General
Hospital, Goderich on Saturday,
November 20th with, a fractured
skull.. His many friends wish him a
sPeedY recovery.
