MURRAY WALDEN
James, Murray Walden passed
away suddenly on Friday, Novem-
ber 12, 1976' at his residence in
Huron Township.
Murray was born April 21, 1927
in, Kincardine Township, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Bert Walden.
His •entirc lifetime was spent
farming on the fourth concession of
Huron. His outside interests were'
in Ripley Minor Hockey and
neighbourhood visiting. Recently
he was appointed an elder of Pine
River United Church.
He is survived by his wife, the
former Marian MacDonald, two
daughters, Mary Elizabeth (Mrs.
Ray Chowen) of Thorndale; Gert-
rude Lee of London; two sons,
Peter and Brock at home, and one
granddaughter Kara; also his sister
Bertha, Mrs. Jack MacKenzie, of
Ashfield; • his brother Glen of
Lucknovv and his parents. Mr. and
Mrs. Bert Walden of Kincardine.
Funeral service was held Mon-
day, November 15, 197.6 from the
McLennan McCreath Funeral
Home, Ripley with Rev. Bob,
Outman officiating with interment
in Ripley Cemetery.
Pallpearers were Leroy Godfrey,
Leonard Reid, Norris Messenger,
George Messenger, Murray Wilk-
en and Perrin Lowry.

Miss Joyce Tiffin and Miss Janet
Sleightholm of Toronto spent the
weekend with their parents Mr.
and Mrs: Dan Tiffin and Mr. and
Mrs. Elmer. Sleightholm. On
Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Tiffin had
her mother, Mrs. Ethel Stewart of
Wingham, to celebrate her birth-
day.
Congratulations to-Mr, and Mrs.,
Donald Morrison of R. R. 5
,Lucknow on the birth of their
daughter, Suzanne. Marie, on
November 15 at Wingham Hospital'
and to Mr. and Mrs. Bruce
Pewtress of R. R. 3 Wingham on
the birth of their daughter, Kendra
Caroline, November 16th at Wing-
ham Hospital and to Mr. and Mrs.
Donald England, on the birth of
their son at Wingham Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs: Ivan Laidlaw,
Janet and. Kimberley were Sunday
Visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Bill
EmmertOn of Kincardine.
Mr. and Mrs. Alex Whytock of
Teeswater were Sunday visitors
with Mr. and Mrs. Carman
Whytock and John.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Moss of
Plattsville were Thursday visitors
with her mother Mrs. Ben. McClen-
aghan and brother Carl and Mrs.
McClenaghan.
Mr. and Mrs. Fair had her father
J. P. Crawley of Guelph visiting
with them a few ,days last week.
'Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Beecroft,
Kevin, Shannon and Heather of
Wingham visited Sunday with his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. W.
Beecroft and Karen.
Miss Janet Adams, Who has
been at the Lodge at Setting Lake,
Manitoba, came home for a week's
holiday to visit with her parents
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Adams,
grandmother Mrs. Jennie Inglis,
Tom and Betty.
Miss Bonnie Inglis of , Toronto
spent',the weekend with her
grandmother, Mrs. J. Inglis, Tom
and Betty.
At the euchre party held in
Whitechurch Hall on Monday Might
of this week, five tables were in
play. Prizes went to high man, Bill
Rintoul; high lady, Mrs. John
Gaunt; draw for ladies, Mrs. Doris
Willis; lucky chair, Dave Gibb.

Of which all electors are hereby required to take notice and
govern themselves accordingly, and if a greater number of
candidates than are required to fill the said office are
nominated and make the required declarations, poll will be
opened for the • purpose of taking the poll on Monday,
December 20, 1976 between the hours of 11 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Advance poll will be held on Saturday, December. 11; 1976 '
during the above polling hours.
Candidates must be nominated in "writing: Prescribed
forms are available at the clerk's office and will require the
declaration of the nominee and signatures of at least 10
persons who-are entitled to vote for the office 'mentioned.
The nomination paper may be °filed with the clerk from
Thursday, November 25, 1976 up until .5, p.m. on Monday,.
November 29, 1976.
