Attending the social evening on Friday at Langside Community Hall for Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Young who recently left the community and now live in Lucknow, and to Mrs. Visser and Winnie who left-the community and now reside in Wingham, were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Tiffin and Mr. and Mrs.' J. Diane Raynard was admitted to Wingham General Hospital on Saturday of last week. Milvert Reid was invited for Sunday supper at the home of his daughter Marion, Mr. and Mrs. -Peter Keil of Wingham. He plans on leaving the community for the sunny south the end of this week where he spends the winter months. Mr. and Mrs. Russel Swan, Linda, Kevin and 'Margaret spent Sunday afternoon with his. aunt, Miss Margaret Disher of Maitland Manor Nursing Home, Goderich. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Kirkland travelled by bus on Thursday of last week to attend the ' Royal Winter Fair in Toronto. Mrs. Charles Wilkins and her mother, Mrs. William 'Irwin and Lloyd of Kinloss, spent. Sunday with her' brother, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Irwin of Oshawa. Mr.' and Mrs. Frank Ritchie received word that his brother Fred of Huntsville took ill last week. He was admitted to Huntsville Hospit- al after suffering a slight stroke; but his conditiOn was' much improved at the weekend.
