In First Game
Lucknow Atom hockey team
played in Mildmay on November
12th and defeated them 3-2 in' the
first game of the season.
Grant Murray scored two goals
and Alex West scored 1.' Assists
went 'to Grant Murray, Steven
Hamilton, Todd Ritchie and Don
Peterson.
Next game will e November 22

her brother Murray Walden of Pine

NEIGHBOURS' ASSIST
Ken Elphick has returned home
from hospital, but unable to
complete his fall, work, the neigh-
borirs got together and did his fall
plowing, doing over 130 acres in
one 'day. ,
Mrs. Rhoda MacKenzie spent
Wednesday in Hanover at • a
seminar for tour giride,s, 'escorts
and travel 'agents. Due,th ihe bad
roads and storm she was forced to
spend the night in. Walkerton.
Mr, and Mrs. George McGregor
of Hamilton spent a few days with
Mr. and Mrs. Jack MacKenzie.
Mr. and Mrs. Sykes and
Marjorie, former residerits of this
area and now of Ridgetown, ,called
on friends in the area during the
past week.
Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Luther were
recent visitors in Ridgetown with
relatives there.
