Plans for the Tea and Bake Sale
on November 9 was the highlight of
the November meeting of the Silver
Lake W.I. which was held ht the
home of Mrs. Harold Bannerman.
The report of the 4-H display on
Creative Stitchery at the Teeswater
Fair was given -by the leaders Mrs.
Ray Stanley and Mrs. • Glen
Haldenby. The resolution to be
presented at the Area Convention
in Chesley was read and voted 'on
as to how their delegate was to vote
on the resolution at convention. An
invitation was read , for the branch
to attend a- meeting in Bervie
November 10 to see slides and hear
the report of the National Conven-
tion held in Charlottetown, P.E.I.
in June by a district delegate Mrs.
James Kirkpatrick of Ripley.
Another letter of interest was
from a lady who received a door
prize at the International Ploughing •
Match 'which was donated by this
branch. Members were pleased to
.hear ,of ,the donation received for
memers helping with the Farm
Beautification banquet in Ripley in
