Three Games
For Lancers.
In Past Week
The Intermediate hockey team
visited Port Elgin again on Wed-
nesday, November 10th and. came
home with a 10-3 loss. For two.
periods they „held held their own, with
goals by Jim Murray 2 and Mike
Courtney 1 to give them a 3-3 tie.
The third was• all Port's and the
officials.
At home Friday night, the
Lancers got rolling again and
skated past Harriston fora 6-0 shut
-mt. Mike Courtney, assisted by
Carl Stanley, scored early in the
1st. Midway through a lively
)eriod of hockey, Hirriston's B.
lolland, had the ' misfortune to
ollide with Lucktiow's goal post,
suffering a , badly fractured arm.
John MacKenzie got things rolling

John came right back in 'the

well deserved 6-0 shut-out.
Sunday the Lancers hosted
Milverton in the best game yet for
their fans. They couldn't hold the 4
Wheel Drives, allowing them the
lone goal in the first.
\ Milverton scored again before
Lucknow got on the board. Mark
Chisholm got the Lancers rolling
when he picked up a pass from
Mike Courtney and blasted it
home. It was. Mike again
unassisted 'to put them on even
ground ending the period.
The Lancers came out in the 3rd,
keeping on top of Milverton until
the breaks tame for them. Captain .
Dave MacKinnon got the third one
from Doug Stevenson. Later is was.
Jim Murray from Dave and Doug.
They allowed Milverton 1 more
with 7 seconds to go making the
final score 4-3 for Lucknow.
A good turnout, witnessed a hard
played clean game all the way.
Friday, November 19th the Lancers
travel to Clinton and will entertain
Mitchell in Lucknow Sunday,
November 21st at 8.30
Fleas Win Opener
On Saturday, November 13, the
Lucknow Fleas opened the season,
with a 7 to 1 win over :Belgrave.
Brad Priestap scored 5 goals and
Chris Irwin scored 2 for Lucknow.

Juveniles Win
After Losing Two
After losing 6-5 • to Port Elgin,'
and 4-3 to Walkerton, on the' road,
the Ripley Juvenile hockey team
treated their fans to a ,10-4 win over
Lions Head in their fitst home
game. ,
Johnny Elliott and Mike Gallant
led the viay, with Johnny getting
the hat trick and 2 assists and Mike -
right behind with 2 goals and 2
assists... Chris McGarvey, Mike
Pollock, Mark Stanley,. ,Ken Mac-
"Gillivray and Robert Regier each,
scored once. Assists went to Mark
Stanley, Ken MacKay, Brian
Colling, Robert Regier and Kevin
Cook, vvho also took over from
Danny Boyd in goal when his knee
was hurt.
The team has a 'busy weekend
coming up. Friday' they play in
Ripley at 8.30, Saturday they go to
Clinton and to Luckno* for a game
at 3.45 on Sunday.
