Spence McFarlan returned home
from the Wingham and District
Hospital, where he has' been
patient. We wish him improved
health. •
Mrs. Jack Scott, Mrs. Frank
.Maulden and Mrs; Alex . Perey,
represented ,the , Holyrood Wom-
en's Institute at the Rally, which
was held at Underwood on Thurs-
day. •
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Guest were in
London 9n Tuesday. Mrs. Guest
had a medical check up following
her recent surgery.
Visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Art
Haldenby were Mrs. Walter Chap-
man of Vancouver, B.C., Mrs.
Marjoyie Culley and. Mr, and Mrs.
HOviard Bennett of Toronto.
TWO MOOSE AND ONE WOLF
Several local men namely Leon-
ariStanley, Delbert :Stanley; Allan
Rhody, Duncan McEwan and
'George Hoy of Goderich spent a
week hunting in the Thunder'Bay
area. They returned with .2 moose
and 1 wolf. -
Mrs, Laural Hewitt of London
visited with' Mr.. and Mrs. George
Graham.
Mt. and Mrs. Georgq Gilbert of
Stratford and Mr, and Mrs. Jack
Scott visited on Saturday with Edna
and May Boyle.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Greenwood of
Ripley will be the guest speakers
and show films at the • Women's
Institute family night on Friday
evening, October 29th when a pot
luck supper will be served at • 7
o'clock,
Gerald Murray underwent knee
surgery on Friday at St. Joseph's
Hospital, London. ' We wish him a.
good recovery.
Miss VVinnifred Percy returned
home from Simcoe, where she
spent the past week with Mr. and
Mrs. Don Bertrand and ,family.
Everyone is cordially invited to
attend the Harvest Thanksgiving
, service at the Kinlough Anglican
Church on Sunday next, October
31st at 11 a.m. followed by a
luncheon and fellowship hour. This
is a year to be especially thankful
for the many work improvement
undettakings by, the congregation.
Mr. and Mrs. Howard Thompson
visited on Sunday with Mr. and
Mrs. Bert Nicholson and Lois,
Mr. and Mrs. George Graham
and Mr. and Mrs. Levi Eckenswil-
ler visited with Mr. and Mrs.
Melvin Johnston (Betty Graham) at
Listowel.
Miss Marville Scott of Toronto
visited with Malcolm Lane and
Hugh and with. Mrs. Lane in
Wingham Hospital and other rela-
tives here.
Mrs. Roy Schneller of Wingham
visited Sunday with Mrs. 9ertrude
Walsh. Later in the day, Mrs.
Walsh along with Mr. and Mrs.
Scott Walsh and family were with
Mr. and Mrs. Miller Hartwick for
supper at Kincardine.
