raphy excursion on Saturday,
October 16. Two buses left the'
school for Tobermory where they
crossed on the chi-Cheernaun to
South Baymouth and returned to
Tobermory where they, enjoyed a
hike along • the Bruce Trail,
returning back to the F. E. Madill
Secondary School by bus.

MOVES TO WAVVANOSH
Mrs. Genevieve Kinahan moved
from Kingsbridge recently to a new
'mobile, home she recently purcPas,-
ed and had set up on the farm of
her son and daughter-in-law, Mr.
And Mrs, William Kinahan and.
• family of R., R. 2, Lucknow:. . Mrs. •
Kimilian had filled in as a relief
teacher for Mrs. Walter Clare from
April 1958 until June 1958 at' St.
Joseph's School, Kingsbridge and
was hired On the staff in September
1963 until December' '1964 when
she was forced to quit due to a ear
aCcideM. Mrs, .Kinahan , had
purchased property from' Mr.
John Kelly and had a new home
built and was, just nicely settled
prior to her. accident. Mrs.
Kinahan will be greatly missed in
this community.
,Several from this area were in
Wingham on Wednesday, October
14 to hear Miss Joanne Nash,
British Pro Life Journalist speak on
behalf of the Society for the
Protection of. Unborn children, at
the F. E. Madill Secondary School.
The Physical Fitness Club began
their fall sessions of volleyball on
Wednesday, October 13 at St.
Joseph's School, Kingsbridge at 8
p.m,
Congratulations to Margie O'Ne-
ill, 14 year old daughter of Mr. and,
Ms. James O'Neill, who won two
saddle races at the Teesvvater Fall
Fair on Saturday, October 9. She
took. top honours in the class for
riders 16 years of age: and under
and in the open class.

reception for Mr. 'and Mrs. Michael
Mallough, the former Valerie
Stothers, at the Saltford Valley Hall
on Friday evening, October 15,

John O'Connor moved to `Luck-
now on Friday, October 1st to the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond
Leddy for the winter months.
Francis Hogan, a patient in the
Wingham and District Hospital for
the past 9 days,, was transferred to
Victoria Hospital in London on
Sunday, October 17. His many
friends wish him a. speedy recov-
ery.

attended the trousseau tea "held at
the home of Mrs. Charles Wilkins
on Sunday,' October 17,: in honour
of her daughter Barbara's forth-
coming marriage to James Arthur
Sheppard of Cambridge, Galt. The
wedding will take place on Satur-
day, October 23 in the Lueknow
United Church at 4 p.m.
Students of St. Joseph's School,
Kingsbridge enjoyed a holiday on
Monday, October 18th while teach-
ers attended a professional devel-
opment day in. Dublin.
INJURED IN HOCKEY PRACTICE
Gary Courtney, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Joe Courtney, was hit by a
puck at' the Lucknow Intermediate
hockey, practice held at Vanastrkon
Wednesday, October 13. Gary was
taken.to the Clinton Public Hospital
where he received 1CkStitches to the
forehead. Luckily, Gary was
'wearing a helmet. He was later
released. .
'A Blood Donors clinic will be
held at the Goderich District
Collegiate Institute on Wednesday,
November ,3 from 2 'until 5 in the
afternoon and from 6 until 8 in the
evening. Area residents are
reminded that "Blood is badly
