On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Dan Tiffin held a family dinner party in honour of their daughter Joyce's birthday. Mr. and Mrs. John Shetler and family who resided on the Dawson Craig farm sold it and ,moved last week to the 13 concession of West" Wawanosh to the former Donald, Taylor farm. THAT Brenda Johnstone, 18, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Johnstone of . Lucknow is a patient in Victoria Hospital in London. ' Brenda underwent surgery on September 27th for a ' badly fractured leg suffered in a motor accident on the previous Saturday. She is present- ly in traction and will be for three months. She faces a long"period of hospitalization. THAT $25 winners in last week's Wintario draw 'were Allan Irwin of Ripley, Barry McDonagh of Luck - now and a Lucknow 10 -member ladies bridge club. THAT ,Bernard Campbell of^Belfast and Mrs. Campbell's . uncle,. Doug Moore of Walkerton, had good luck in a fishing expedition near Belfast on. R. 4 Wing- ham, was a . passenger in ' a car driven by Brian Martin October 1 when they lost control and struck a telephone pole., on the 2nd concession of Morris Township. Patient was treated for an injured rib cage and released. Investigated by Cr Vessey. Kenneth Fidom, R. R. 1 Bel, grave, ' was ' riding his bicycle September 30 when he was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Charles Flatt, on' Highway 4. Patient was treated for abrasions to both hands, knee and Power leg, and released.' InvestigatedbyW. R. Bell. ' / Gregory Stephens, Gorrie, was lone occupant of his car October 2 when he was involved in a head on collision on Highway 87. Patient. was admitted to hospital with multiple injuries. Investigated by Constable Vessey. Stephen Ritchie, R. R. 5 Luck- now,•fell from a motorcycle October 2 in Lucknow injuring and lacetat- ing his chest wall.
