Mr. and Mrs. Anthony ,Wisser of
Goderich, who were married in St.
Joseph's Roman Catholic Church at
Kingsbridge on Saturday, October
2 at'2 p.m. Reverend Father Ed
Dentinger, C.R. officiated. The
bride's attendants were: matron of
Aonour, Mrs. Betty Lou• Dalton,
sister of the bride; the bridesmaid,
MiSs Carol Card, Toronto; junior
bridesmaid, Miss Patty Durnin and
• the flower girl, Linda Rose Bowler.
The groom was attended by John.
Erwin and the ushers were Michael
Dalton, Kingsbridge; • Patrick
O'Leary, Toronto and Larry Shaw,
Toronto. The ring . beOrer was
Danny Wilson. Marianne Frayne
was the organist and soloist.
Following their marriage, dinner
was served at the Saltfore Valley
Hall with an open reception at 9
p.m.. with music for dancing.

out-patient at the Winghatn and
District. Hospital on Friday 'When
she cut her thumb. .A few stitches
were required to close the wound.
Mr. and Mrs. Norris Wilson, Bill
Wareing and Mrs. Barbara La-
Guere were weekend visitors with
Mr. and Mrs. Ross Errington.
Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Todd
attended the fall fair at Ilderton.
Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Todd attended
the . fall fair at Wallaceton.
Following the, fair they spent the
remainder of the weekend with Mr.
and Mrs. Gary Bryans of Ridge-
town.
The Women's Institute meeting
will be held at the hall on Thursday
afternoon.at 1.3Q. The roll call is

participated in this last year. Guest
speaker will be Mrs, Eleanor
Bradnoch of Auburn. All
members please attend.
FAMILY WELCOMED1
St. Heletis welcomes to the
community Mr. , and Mrs. Ivan
Clark. Mr. and. Mrs. Clark moved
into their new •home this past
weekend from Rexdale. Mr. Clark
was formerly employed by Douglas
Aircraft. He was witlythe company
for 22 years before retiring. Mrs,
Clark was employed with a branch
of the Bank of' Commerce. Their
present plans are just to get
organized in their new home and
enjoy their retirement. Their
interests include gardening, fish-
ing and anything pertaining to the
great outdoors°. The St. Helens
community extend their welcome
Mr. and Mrs. Clark and hope they
enjoy living in our community.

living in the St. Helens area would
phone in their news to Mrs. Wayne
Todd, 528-5055.. Several people
inquire as to why they were not in
the paper and the reason' is that it is
up to the individual to report any
news. Your friends, neighbours'
and distance relatives like to know

Mr. and Mrs. John Riegling and
family of ,Chatham spent Saturday'
Sympathy is extended to Robert
and Russell • Irvin of Ashfield
Township and members 'of their
families, and relatives' in the death
of Mr. William Irvin on fhursday,
September 30 at the. Wingham and
'District Hospital in his 85th year.
His body rested at the MaeKenzie
Funeral Home in Lucknow where
funeral services were held on
Monday, October 4th at 2' p.m.
Interment was in the Greenhill'
Cemetery, Lucknovv.

ship is a patient in the Wingham.

general meeting and social. evening
with cards, lunch and refreshments
at the home of Benny VanDiepen-
beek on Wednesday, September 29.
ATTENDED ORDINATION
Mrs. Mark Dalton and family
attended the. Ordination to the Holy
Priesthood of the Foreign Mission
Society, of her nephew Allan King,
son of Mr. and Mrs: Ken King of
Welland on Saturday, October /2 in
the Chapel of Scarboro, Foreign
Mission Society, Scarboro, Ontario,
and attended his First Mass
celebrated in the same chapel on
Sunday, October 3. Reverend King
