Del Stanley went the distance on the mound and drove in Ripley's first run 'to help his own cause. Elliott Courtney and Larryirwin each had 2 hits while John Rudder, Eric -,MacLeod and Al Hunter had to their credit.' Elliott crossed the home platetwice and made just a super catch in centre field in the 6th inning to prevent Moorefield from scoring. The 2nd game was held Tuesday night.
