weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Derk
Logtenherg and family.
Several from this area attended
the 15th annual Threshers Reunion
held in nEilytli this past weekend and
also the London Fair.
Michael Costello -of London and
Matthew O'Loughlin are holiday-
ing at ' Stokes Bay, Ontario.

Youth Club were guests of the
Formosa Youth Club on Sunday
afternoon, September 12.

FAMILY REUNION
Approximately 150 descendant*
of the 'King and 'Whitty, families
attended a pot luck dinner and
family reunion held in St. Joseph's
Parish Hall at Kingsbridge on
Sunday afternoon, September 12.
Special guests were Mr. and Mrs.
Victor Whitty of Magalia, Californ-
ia and 'his sister Mrs. Marie
(Whitty) Brewer of Biloxi, Missis-
sippi who are holidaying in this
area for .their _first time. The
Whitty's are grandchildren of the,
late Mr. and. Mrs. Martin Whitty
who owned and operated a store at
'Kintail. Following the dinner, •Mr.-
George Brunton introduced the
Costello', Sisters, Sheila, Sharon,
Elizabeth-and Theresa"-who delight-,
ed their audience with their special
'Songs with guitar accompaniment
done by Sharbir. Eugene Frayne
also favoured the audience with his
tenor voice.

WELCOME TEACHERS
A progressive euchre party and a
social get together to meet and
welcome teachers, especially David
Zyluk' and Mrs. Zyluk, was held in
St. Joseph's School auditorium at
Kingsbridge on Saturday, Septem-
ber 11. • Prize winners were:, ladies
high, Miss Joanne Hamilton; mens
high, Brother Carl Voll; ladies low,
Mrs. Clarice Dalton; mens low,
David Zyluk.
VISIT gOMELAND
Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Van-
Diepan flew from the Toronto Inter-
national Airport on Friday, Sept-
ember 3 and are spending three
weeks visiting their many relatives
and friends in Holland.
HOLIDAY IN IRELAND
Raymond Dalton flew from the
Toronto International Airport on
Tuesday, September 7 'to Ireland
for a four week vaeation.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Doherty
and Jim Doherty left on Sunday,
• September 12 for a .three week
vacation in the Western Provinces.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Dalton and
son •Brian of Hamilton visited
during the past week with Mr. and
Mrs. Joe Courtney and family.

September 11 in honour of Maur-
een Bradley, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Jim Bradley and Dave
Thomas following their wedding.

home of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Dickie.
Miss Isabelle Macintosh of
Hamilton is visiting with. Mr. and

Mr. and Mrs. Allan Graham and
Ruth motored to Greenville, South
Carolina last week. Ruth is in her
3rd term at Bob Jones University
there.
Mr. Wayne ;'Baswick, a. student
minister of Bluevale and Belmore,
was guest speaker at South Kinloss
on Sunday. Rev, Noble was guest
speaker• at the, Belmore anniver-
sary.
LEAVE FOR AUSTRALIA
Mr. and Mrs. A. 'Kuraishi are
visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Frank
MacKenzie this week. They leave
on Saturday on route to Los
Angeles, Hawaii and' then on to
start work in AuStralia.
Connie MacKenzie left last week
to tour Europe.
