On Monday evening, August
16th a men's trebles tournament
was played on the Lucknow greens
with first 'prize going to Arnold .
Fisher's rink from Goderich; Allan
MacKay's rink , from Wingham
second. and third prize to Lorne
Gardner, Roy Fifilayson and Gord-
.on McPherson.
On Tuesday afternoon a 'ladies'
doubles tournament was played on
the Lucknow greens with first prize
gbing to' Connie McMinn's rink
from. Wingham, second. to Jewel
*Westbrook's rink from Goderich,
third to . Muriel McCool's rink from
VVingharn, fourth to Donna Dun-
can's rink ' from Atwood, fifth .to
-Yvonne McPherson's rink from'
Wingham. •
Ott Thursday, August 5th at a
ladies' trebles tournament in
Attwood, Uabel Miller, Tillie Wil-
soh and Maudie Fisher won fourth
prize.

MRS ALEC MacLENNAN
• The death of MrS. Alec MacLen
nan occurred on August S, 1976 in
Chicago. Mrs. MacLennan was in
her 91st year. • •
Born Margaret Garrow Clark,
daughter of Peter and Annie Clark
of St. Helen's, she' spent her early
years in, St. Helens and Kintail
where she taught school for several
years„ After her marriage in 1914
she Moved to Chicago where her
husband predeceased her in 1940.
Surviving are one sister Colina of
Toronto and one brother Don of
Ottawa, also several nieces and
nephews. She was predeceased by
two brothers and four sisters.
Services were held at Zimmer-
man Sandman Chapel, Chicago,
with Rev. Samuel Bauer.officiating.
Interment was at Kintail Cemetery
on August 9th with a graveside
service conducted: by Rev. Arm-
strong of Winghani, attended by
frlends and relatives.
