front page, that the coin box at the
new Fairview Car Wash was also
torn off on Monday night and an
amount of money stolen. Police are
holding suspects i# the thefts.

For Bruce Cou
Grants totalli g $207,661 for
eight projects in ruce County have
been approved .from 'the. proceeds
of the Ontario Lottery.. The
!amounts range ,from $128,000 to
$502.
The 'Village of, Teeswater —is
eligible for. a grant up to $128,000
to construct an arena and commun-
ity hall.' .
The Township - of Amabel is'
eligible for a grant up.to $55,000 to
construct a community hall.
The Keady Community Centre is
eligible fora grant of $15,000 for
renovations.
The Oliphant Women's Inslitute
in Wiarton is eligible, for a grant' of
$5,000 for the addition of kitchen
and washroom faciliites to the
Instititte's community hall.
The Tiverton and District Lions'
Club is eligible fora grant of $2,231
for the installation of floodlights on
a. ball diamond.
A $1,278 'grant: to the Wiarton
Minor Lacrosse Association will be'
used to' buy lacrosse equipment.
The Bruce County Children's Aid
Society in Wiarton will receive $650
to buy tents, . camping and hockey
equipment.
The 'Cape • Croker Mein Guin
Baseball team — in" Wiafton will
receive $502 to buy softball
