Kinlough Presbyterian Women's
Missionary Society met at the home
of Mrs. Frank Maulden on Wed-
nesday afternoon'. The president,
Mrs. Wm. MacPherson; welcomed
twelve members and four visitors.
After repeating the purpose, hymn
540' Lead on. Oh King Eternal was
sung.
The roll call, a Bible flower, was
answered. In the business, the
ladies' decided44 bring a donation
for the DOCK project at Kintail for
Mrs. Din Ross gave a reading.'
A reading, Christ, was • given by
Mrs. Earl Caslick. • The hymn, All
the way my Saviour leads, was
sung. Mrs. Wesley Tiffin remind-
ed folks of the bale. A quilt top was
received from Floris Leaver and
Mrs. Milligan had received patches
for quilts.
The next meeting will be held at
the home of Mrs. Don Ross.
Leaders for the next meeting are
Mrs. 'Bev Kay, Mrs. V. Emerson,
Mrs. Jim de Boer and Mrs. N.
MacDonald. Mrs. Milligan gave
the treasurer's report. The roll call
was answered by naming a verse'
telling of a child Of the Bible. The
offering was dedicated by -Mrs.
Wesley Tiffin. The closing hymn
Japan for Koreans; Mrs. Don
Bushell on Sukuramoto ;Nursery
and Kindergarten; Mrs. Don
Robertson on Yokahama 'Nursery.
Hymn 568, Lord of Light, Whose
Name Outshineth, opened the
worship service. Mrs. R. Wilson
read . the meditation "That they
may be one". Mrs., John Barr read
the scripture, Ephesians 4: 1-t6.
Everyone joined in a Korean prayer
to close the afternoon.
• Mrs Robertson gave the court-
esies and grace was sung. Mrs.
Maulden served refreslnents.

Frank Maulden had the study,
Korean Christians in Japan. Mrs.
Robertson introduced the study
with a little touch of history about
the Koreans. A panel discussion ,
was held about the Korean
Ministry with Mrs. Maulden, Mrs.
MacPherson, Mrs. Robertson and
Mrs. Stewart • McDonald taking
part. •

On July 21st at•2 ChalMer's
Presbyterian Women's Missionary
Society _held their meeting ,at the
home of Mrs:. Wallace Conn. Mrs.
John de Boer was the leader for the
meeting. She gave the call to
worship and extended warm
welcome to all. The hyinn Simply
trusting every day was sling.
Mrs. De Boer read scripture,
Matthew 25: 13-30 and gave the
comments on Investing ones life.
Mrs. Bill Riptoul led inprayer. The
poem; God's Presence, was read by
Mrs. Bill Purdon.
Mrs. Wallace had the
topic, which was the Church Camp
at Kintail. Her daughter, Clara
and Clara's friend 'Beverley. Bell
had recently attended the camp for
a week: Mrs. Milligan told 'of the
different types of camp and
described the camp. There is no
hydro, nor • ,heat and as a result
programs are limited. The rooms
have no shelves. Plans are
underway to' enlarge the main
building. Clara and Bev exhibited
the things made *during' the week, -
candle„ holder and candle, butter-
flies, chokers, bracelet, ' belt of
twine. Clara told of the days work.
She also had to attend Kangaroo
Court because she had bugged The
counsellors. There was a gathering
ofalouncl 60. Game-s-vvere-playeil:
They are trying to introduce family
camping in hopes parents will
attend and help in managing camp
as volunteers.
