A comniunity, bridal shower 'was
held at St. Helens Hall on
Wednesday, July. 21st for Debra
Errington. The gathering enjoyed
a program of readings by Mrs.,
Olive Kennedy, Mrs. Isobel Gaunt,
Mfs. Celia Aitchison, Mrs. Marg.
aret Jamieson, Mrs. Jo-ann Todd
and Mrs.' Kathryn Todd.: A piano
solo was played by R9salie
Cameron; Contests were by Mrs.
Margaket Cranston and Mrs.
Kathryn Todd. Debbie then
opened her gifts which were very
lovely. She then thanked everyone
and invited all to a :trousseau tea to
be held at her house on Saturday
night.
Sincere sympathy is expressed to
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Gingerich and his
family on the passing of their
sixteen year old daughter. Alma
had seen helping with the haying
at the farm of Eli Gingerich when
she was killed by arfall from the hay
wagon. •
A surprise bridal shower was
held at the home of Mrs. Bill'

on Sunday afternoon. The shower
