Moore and Joey Tiffin are mein-

Wingham with a score of 27 to 4 in
favour pf 'Wingham.
Jim Orr of London on Sunday
visited with his sisters Mrs. Willis
Lapp,, Mr. Lapp and family-, Mrs.
John L. Currie and Mr. Currie, all
of Wingham.
The .Y.P.S. held their meeting'
Sunday evening 'at Langside
-Church. Miss Ann Webster had
charge of the meeting which she
opened with prayer. , The group
were divided into 3 groups, given
questions to answer on ' challenge.
A discussion period followed on the
.answers. The minutes were read
by Wendy Kay. Hymns were sung
and practiced for the meeting at
Pinecrest Nursing Home, Lucknow .
on June 13.. A social time is
planned for June 18 to be held at

Ctowston of Lucknow on Wednes-
day was :admitted to Wingham
Hospital. His many friends wish
him a speedy recovery.
Dalton Schultz on Saturday was
admitted to St. Joseplils Hospital,
London where on Tuesday he will
undergo surgery. The community
wishes' Dalton a speedy recoveiy.

with their daughter Mrs.. Gary
Chapman, Mr. Chapman and

113th ANNIVERSARY
The. Presbyterian' congregation
observed their 113th anniversary
on Sunday with services both
morning and evening with Dr.
Robert 'Lennox of Knox College as
guest speaker.
Mrs. Don McEwan has been with
her, grandchildren at Dungannon
while Mr.' and Mrs. Ross Brindley
are on a holiday.

On Friday evening, June 4th
Chalmer's Presbyterian Church
held a pot hick supper. in White-
church. community Memorial Hall
with an attendance of around 80.
During the supper. Mrs. Kay
presented Mrs, John de Boer with
a birthday cake as it was the
occasion of her birthday. All sang
happy birthday. At the close of the
supper Mrs. de Boer treated all to a
'piece of birthday cake.
The' following program was then
enjoyed with Mr., Bev Kay master
of ceremonies. The Y.P.S'.
entertained with a pantomine; act
by Fred de Boer, Clara Milligan,
reciting, Colleen Adams reading,
Lori Purdon accordian, Wendy Kay
solo and :dance. Neit was the
shaving Song with, Kevin Falconer,
Bill. Gibson, Clare Weber, Barry
Elliott, Cecil de Boer. Jim de Boer
gave a few notes on the bagpipes.
Mrs Jim de Boer introduced' the
Y.P.S. players. Mrs. Bill Gibson.
and Mrs. Wardrop accompanied by
Mrs., Don Ross, pianist, sang When
You and I' were Young Maggie and
Grandfathers. Clock.
Mr. Kay extended a °warm
welcome to all. Mrs. Donalda Scott
and Jill Murray gave a piano duet.
A modern square dance was
performed by Mr. and Mrs. Bill
Verteeg, Mr. and Mrs. Walter
Elliott, Mr. end Mrs. Archie
Purdon and Mr. and Mrs. Biil
Purdon to a music by a record.
Jackie Whytock gave a violin
selection "I come to the gaiden
alone", accompanied by' Mrs. Don
Ross, pianist: Little Winnie Visser
and Joann de Boer accompanied by.
Mrs., Don Ross sang a children's
hymn. Mrs. Victor Emerkn gave '
readings "A Lesson Filim a Mule;
Go Ahead 'and. Do It" and told • a
humorous story. Mr. and Mrs. Bev
Kay,' Wendy and Grahaiii accom-
panying on the piano sarig "You
Can't Get To Heaven". Violin
music was given by Robert
Mowbray and Les Purvis accom-
panied by Mrs. Garnet Farrier.
Mrs. Bill Gibson and Mrs. Ward-
rop with Mrs. Don Ross pianist
sang "How Great Thou Art".
John de .'Boer 'thanked all for
coming and taking part and asked if
they , would like another gel
together in the fall. John de Boer
then conducted a humorous skit.
Mrs. Donalda Scott and Jill Murray
favoured with another lively piano
duet. Clara Milligan and Wendy
Kay gave a skit. John Gaunt with
the banjo, .Elroy Laidlaw• with the
violin and Mrs. Don Ross as pianist
gave a snappy musical number and
'responded with an encore.
