passing of Calvin Robertson. The
remains rested at the MacLennan-
McCreath Funeral Home, Ripley,
where the funeral was held on
Tuesday with the burial in Ripley
Cemetery.

The Holyrood Women's Institute

Institute on Tuesday evening when
Mrs. Gwen Fawthrop was guest
speaker.
1st Meeting Of
Veterinary Club
Doug ''Miller, Brian Lobb and
John ,VanVliet were junior, leaders'
on the topics bacteria, and.disease;
viruses and disease. The Huron
County Veternary.Club held their
first meeting on Monday, May 17
at the board room ,at Clinton
Agriculture. office.
Elaine Stuart opened the meet-
ing with 'everybody stan'ding. and
repeating the 4-H pledge. The
minutes .of the + last meeting were
read by Sandra Nivins who is the
secretary of the Huron County
Veterinary Club. The' junior
leaders took charge of the meeting
by doing their topics. Steve
Thompson, the leader of the
Veterinary Club, went through' the
questions • on the lesson. Elaine
Scuart ajourned the' meeting.

hear of the sudden death of Calvin
Robertson of Purple GroN;e at his
home Sunday morning. We extend
sympathy to his sisters, Margaret,
Mrs'. Martha Huston, Mrs. Dorothy
Collins and his brothers Kenneth of
Armow and Don of Purple Grove.
