Visit Quebec
KINGSBRIDGE NEWS
Eric Courtney, son of Mr. and '
Mrs. Joe Courtney and Julie Vogt, •
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter
Vogt, were among'the 48 Language
Students of the. Godericb District
Collegiate Institute making a 5 day
Excursion to Quebec City. They
left on Wednesday, May 5 from the
G.D.C.I. by bus to Stratford and .
then by C.N.R. to. Quebec, staying
at the Loew's Le Concorde Hotel,
Place Montcalm, Quebec City.
They visited the Parliament Build-
ings and toured Upper. 'and. Lower
Quebec, Montmorency Falls, St.-
Anne de Beaupre and many other
points of interest. They returned
back' to the GoderiFh District
Collegiate Institute. on Monday,
May. 10 around noon.
Mr. and Mrs. John Sheardown
and family of St. Thomas and Miss
Blanche' Bilodeau of Waterloo
spent the weekend at the home of

Miss Lorna Campbell and Miss

returned last week from a month's
holiday in Cupertina, California
with their nephew John Naylor and
family.

Mrs. Judy Lukas and Michele of
Wayne, Michigan, returned home
after visiting with her parents,, Mr.
and Mrs. Joe Agnew, Lucknow for
the past ten days.

Robert MacKenzie, son of Judge
and Mrs. P.S.t -MacKenzie of
Walkerton, has returned to his
home community of Walkerton to
practice law.. He had previously
been • associated with a Toronto
legal firm. Judge MacKenzie is a
native of Lucknow and Robert is
well known to many in this'
community. •
Earl McDonald of Lucknow
returned, home from Wingham and
District Hospital on Monday,
where he had been a patient for a
week.

Wallace HoUston, Ottawa, 'visit-
ed on Sunday with his parents, Mr.
and Mrs, Harvey Houston, Luck-
how. •
Roy Ferguson, son of 'Margaret
and Wm. Ferguson, Lucknow, who
has been studying Electronics at
University in Ottawa, residing with
his brother Ronald who is working
with Satellite, Canada, came, home
for holidays May 3rd.
Jim Durnin returned to his
Lucknow home last week after
spending two weeks in Wingham
Hospital.
Pam Agnew has completed her
second year in Honours History at
Huron College, University of
Wesern • Ontario, in London.

Square Dance Club held its final
night of, dancing for the 1975-76
season nn Tuesday evening, May 4
at Brookside Public School.
Instructor Glen Patterson and his
wife Doris travelled from Goderich
to Brookside on Tuesday nights and
to Lucknow on ;Thursday - nights
endeavouring to get across a!do si
do", "spin the top" and even more
complicated changes. 'It has all
been appreciated.
To conclude the evening, approx-
imately sixty dancers sat down to a
fried chicken dinner with all the
trimmings catered to by •the Sepoyy,
Drive In.
A short business meeting was
presided over by president' Arehie
Purdon. •
