The four team grouping of Ashfield, Lucktiow, Holyrood and Kintail have wound up a successful year's hockey activity. ' • The final playoff game was last Thursday when Holyrood , defeated Kintail 6-3 to win the best-of-five series, three games to one. Holyrood are the trophy winners for this year. Lucknow Dungannon Linda Stanley was, top bowler for the ladies with a high single of 256 and a high triple of 646. Other scores over 225 were. When Arthur management was approached with 'questions in regards, they gave some unprint- able answerg. This prompted an investigation the following morning and an official protest . was entered by Lucknow. Lucknow was to return to Arthur for the fourth game, of the series Thursday night, but- was informed by the W.O.A.A. not to go until results of •a special meeting. Todd Ritchie Is Most Valuable Flea Player On Saturday night, the, Lucknow Fleas held their final game for they, season against the parents. At the end of the game, a trophy for the most valuable player in the Flea team was presented to Todd Ritchie. The trophy was donated by Bob Gibbons of Goderich, in memory of 'Joe MacIntyre, and presented by the late Mr. Macln- tyre's daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Collins of Kintail. This trophy is given for the most valuable Flea player in his last year..
