The sixth meeting of - the
,Holyrood Cherry , Blossoms was
held on Friday, April 9th at 4.30
p.m. ,at the home of Mrs. Hank
Duiker. •
The meeting opened with the
4-H pledge. The roll call was
"show a Sample of a. pie that you
made". This was answered ,by
most of the members. Activity
was, Mrs. Gerald Rhody brought
some banana bread.
Jeanette Duiker and Carol Wil-
son made glazed apple, cookies and
Renee Duiker and Lea Anne
Haldenby helped put the icing on
the cookies. Mary Eadie, Marilyn
.Rhody and Mrs. Wayne, Rhody
made peach baked Alaska. All the
members enjoyed eating these.
.The meeting closed with the 4-H
motto:

in the first 'floor north sitting room
on MOnday afternoon and in
women's bed care on Tuesday
afternoon. A piano has been
placed in the dining area' of
women's bed care , which, gives all
of the' residents on that floor an
opportunity to enjoy the music.
Four girls from the Seaforth area
`the Four' Steps" entertained on
"Family Night". Susan and Cheryl
McAllister; Catherine. and Brenda
Coleman sang country, western
and sacred songs. They provided
their own guitar and drum accom-
paniment. Susan &lc/Ulster 'was
emcee -for the program with Mrs.
Orville bide expressing the apprec-
iation of the residents,
