Ripley's Night School, five ladies
who received certificates in needle-
work from Principal William Turyill
were unintentionally omitted.
They were Hilda Phelan,. Judy van
Kooten, Deanne -,Gitikezna, Kerry
fetmestey and Cathie. Thorburn. •
Teacher of the ,needlework, which
included knitting and crocheting,
was Mrs. Margaret Blue of Ripley.'

tural Society, there were five lucky
winners in a draw held by the new

Guides Went to Mrs. Leonard
Ritchie's where they learned how
to bake bread. The High School
girls have not attended the last two
weeks because they were writing
exams.
