Working in the. Lucknow Office, in the Operations, Ontario
Branch, your duties will include typing forms, reports and cor-
respondence, recording rent payments, and issuing receipts.
Other responsibilities will iuclude generally assisting the Man-
ager in what is presently a• one man operation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Grade 12 education with at least 2 year related office ex-
perience, good typing, pleasant telephone manner. Applicants
having the equivalent in education and experience will also be
considered.
This is not a Civil Service position.

of the Dairy Herd Improvement
Msociation was held on Thursday,
March • 11. at 12.0b noon in
Teeswater United Church.
Ray Pennington, • area supervis-
or, presided for the meeting. Ray
reviewed changes that have been
made in the D.H.I.A. program with
regard to records and the National
Identification Program,m -for grade
dairy cattle. ,
Alan Kieffer•delighted the group,
with several violin selections and
was accompanied by Mrs. Marilyn
Robertson.
Bill Grexton, Assistant Agricul-
tural Representative, stressed the
feeding of balanced feed rations for
the dairy cow resulting in increased
milk production.
A Feed Advisory Program is now
available to Ontario dairymen and
if used effectively should result .in
improved herd health and milk
production for many dairymen.
Ray Pennington then presented
the 1975 certificates and awards.
Alan Whytock, Teeswater received
the certificate for the Highest
'Composite Breed Class Average
152.0; Michael Kieffer, Teeswater
the greatest increase in B.C.A. for
1975, 10.5; and the herd of Tom.
Christie received the breeding
efficiency certificate for the best
calving interval, 12.4 'months. .
Adolph Rubick, Mildmay receiv-
ed the award for the greatest
increase in milk production donat-
ed by Norinan McKee, 'United
Breeders' Formosa Branch and
Gelora Farms Ltd., Walkerton, the
award' for the second highest
increase in milk production donat-
ed by Ray Pennington..
Recognition was given to • the
herds of Alan Whytock and Cam
,Robertson who have had cows
named in the. Holstein-Friesian
Journal and to the fourteen,
`supervised herds in this association
who were named in the 1.975
Ontario Dairy Herd ImproveMent
Annual Report.

Mr. and Mrs. Alan Whytock
showed slides and • gave an
interesting commentary on their
trip to the British. Isles. Lorne
Fischer thanked the speaker.

with next year's meeting.

iation to". Ray on behalf of the
members and the meeting was
adjourned.

Women's Institute
The Lucknow Junior Women's
Institute inet in the Lucknow Town
Hall on Tuesday, March 9 at 8
p.M. for their monthly meeting,,
• Nancy Brown, the vice president ;
presided over the meeting. The'
meeting ,was, opOned• by repeating
the Opening Ode and Mary Stewart
'Collect. Eleven members answer-
ed the roll call which was "Bring
your favourite low calorie and/or
economical recipe" for exchange".
Deanna Reavie read the minutes
of,the last meeting and gave
the financial report. They discus-
sed the correspondence that they
had received since the :last meet-
ing. Marguerkte Sanderson, dem-
onstrated"to some of the members
how to hook the rug.
The annual spring meeting will
be held on April 24th near Niagara
Falls. Gail Cranston and Brenda
Grubb were in charge 'of the
program which was on'.nutrition.
They served a lovely nutritious
lunch which everyone enjoyed.
The next meeting will be held on
Tuesday, April 20th at 8 p.m. in the
town hall.
