LucknOw lost the first game in the series' by a close 8-7 score. The 4th game in the best-of-five will be played in Clinton on Friday night. Close Series For Ripley Nlidgets There's a close series going on between the Ripley Midgets and the Langton Midgets in 0.M.H.A. playoffs. .Friday night in Ripley, Langton won 3-2. Robert Regier scored both Ripley tallies. Saturday the boys journeyed to Langton, and at the end of the third period, the score was 2-2. Larry Farrell •• had scored both• Ripley goals, with Robbie Lowry assisting on one of them. In the, overtime ,period, Larry Farrell again, scored on an assist from Mark Stanley. Robbie Lowry, assisted by.' Brian Coiling beat the Langton goalie next. Langton was able to score only once, so the final score was 4-3 for Ripley.. They play back in Langton Wednesay night, and 'in Ripley Friday night at 8.30. Come on out and support these guys, they 'are playing good hockey!..
