on Harbor Matters
The town council met lu regular
meeting on b'siday evening. There
was a vacant chair, that of the late
0ouucillor Outt, of who,* lamented

a vote of sympathy to the bereaved
widow and family. Councillor Gould

The tine matter taken up was a pro-
positkm from the Bell Telephone Om,

was accepted and referred to the tire
committee to be carried out.

Death of Former Resident
The death occurred at Deeroit re-;
(Neely of Aggie Shannon, vridotv of the '
late John MeIntosh and a former re -
trident of this town. Deceamed .was
the eldest deughter of ti* late Chris-
topher Shannon of Goderich. It is
twenty-five years or more wince she
and her husband moved from this
town to Detroit, where she had since
lived. Mr. McIntosh died some years
ago in Colorado. Surviving are three
