On the evening of Saturday,
February 28, Baha'is from this area
joined with friends, relatives and
fellow believers from as far away as -
Mount Hope to observe Intercalary
Days in Kincardine. A party,
sponsored by the LoCal Spiritual
Assembly of the Baha 'is of
Kineardine and held in the W. E.
Thompson Public School, featured
'a slide show. The slides depicted
various scenes from in and around
Kincardine and were co-ordinated.
with verses from the Baha'i
Writings relating to God and His
creation. Also on the .agenda was
an 'original music and, dance
,performance which displayed the
creative talents of several industri-
ous persons from the community.
The program epded with several
fun games' followed by a delicious
lunch and a time for socializing.
The following evening Marilee
Keislar of Walkerton opened her
home to 30 guests for a potluck
dinneeparty. Each guest received
a small pottech plant from, ,the
hostess before leaving.

Mrs. Philip (Sadie) MacMillan of
R. R. 1 Lucknow leaves Thursday of
this week for a tour of the British
Isles. She will be joined 'by her two
brothers in Belfast, Ireland, during
the mid winter break. They will
return home March 28th.

Toronto, spent the week end with
his parents, Mr. and Mrs: Harvey
Houston.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Thompson of,
Lucknow attende"d the annual
con,'Vehtion of the Ontario Weekly
Newspapers Association in Ottawa

week. While in Ottawa they were
guests, along with other local
constituency members, of Mem-
bets of parliament Crawford Doug-
las and Robert McKinley. They
had diniier with Mr. &nights and
some of his fellow members , of
parliament in' the parliamentary
"dining room. They Visited the office
of Robert McKinley who provided
them 'with passes to,the member's
gallery where they viewed ,„the
proceedings of parliament, Mr.
McKinley is in the- process of
vacating his office for new quarters
due to his recent resignation as
party whip. While, in Ottawa the
Thoinpsons also visited with Bev's
brother and family, Dr. and Mrs.
Fraser A.shton, Antoine and Stef-
anie at Lucerne, Quebec, juist
across the river from Ottawa.
Mrs. Harold Johnstone of Park-
- hill and formerly of LucknoW; is a
patient in St. Joseph's Hospital,
London where she recently under-
went surgery.
