increased to 20 cents. But there are still a lot .
of 10 cent pay phones around. And we'd like to
-tell you where you can find them.

Generally, you'll'find these phones on municipal
sidewMks, in railway stations "and bus terminals.
Pay phones in hospitals, riurSing, homes,
rooming houses and churches will.alSo
remain at 10 cerlts.
The '200 Pay Phone
6Rsta3HPME Pay phones in most other locations, such as ,
'hotels, airports and restaurants,
go up to 20 cents.
Emergency'calling
At the same time, a ,new servie will be added
to all outdoor Pay phones. What this added:
service does is enable you to reach the Operator,
Directory Assistance and Repair Service
without depositing a coin.
Instructional cards
From' now on, when you're calling from a
pay phone, look for the, information card above
the dial. It clearly tells you whether it's a
10 cent or 20 cent pay phone.

The Brownies opened their
meeting on Tuesday, February
24th with a ,game "Presolian".
This is a game that the PhiliPpine
Brownies play.. ,
Dianne VV,on was Fairy-Queen
and she set4ip the toadstool- for
"'Brownie. Ring: The Sixers collected
Brownie Gold and Tawny Owl
inspected for a, complete uniform
and a clean handkerchief. ,Every-
one repeated the Brownie Prayer.
At Pow Wow plans were made to
hold a toboganning party next
meeting. The,requirements for the
Snowshoer Badges• were gone over
.as one of the Brownies was
interested in trying for it.
During work period Packie had
the Golden 'Ladder • Brownies to
review first aid and then they
played Kim's game. Tawny Owl
had the Golden .Bar Brownies to
talk abort our founders Lord and
Lady Baden Powell.
The meeting was brought to a
close with the Squeeze and Taps.

:Seat Belt Law
A second meeting of the.
Citizen's Protection Association,
Huron Chapter #1, was held at the
home of Bill park at Dungannon on
February 24. • The purpose of this
,meeting was to' makefinal arrange-
ments for a large scale public
meeting:

After sevieral hours of discussion
the final- arrangements are • as
follows with the hope that every
concerned citizen will make an
effort to support the Association.
"Seat Belts should be your choice"
"To wear or not to wear". Let is be
our chOice not government com-
mand. So if' you don't want to
buckle-up come to the meeting and
find out what we are trying to do
about it.
It will be at F. E. Madill
Secondary. School, Wingham,
March 4th at 8.30 p.m. Special
guests will be M.P.P. Murray

originated the seat belt petition;
also represented will be the
Citizens Protection Association
head office at Niagara Falls and the

The minutes of the last' meeting
were read and were adopted as
correct. A treasurer's report was
given by Ramona 'Humphrey and
adopted.

ing advertising for our . open.
