tactics employed by Hensall prior'
to and during 'the , game On, that
date. .
Although'one prominent fensall
figure was caught in an outright lie,
not once but twice, and although
the committee agreed, that Luck-
now was taken for a ride; the ruling
was made in favour .of Hensall. We
wonder if Lucknow could at least
have a written'' explanation of this
decision. •

LucknOw Recreation Committee.

very, popular event for fans and

Legion Championship trophy and a

Mildmay on. Wednesday night.

were several penalties called, but.
they were- all of a mild nature and
the referees had the game well in

whistle.

after the two week layoff and, were

the period. Tom O'Keefe scored
the first of ' four quick 'goals by

Sinnett from Mark Frayne; O'Ke-

In the. second period Mark
Frayne scored two shorthanded-
goals in the space of 39 seconds on
passes from Tom ,Sinnett with Rick
Conley in the "Sin Bin". Mildmay
scored once more jrfore the end of
the period.

Gilchrist tipped in 'a shot by Rod
Simpson from Steve Hamilton and
a few seconds later Mark Frayne
scored on a pass froin_ Pat Murray'
and Eric Cayley. Mildmay ,
answered with three goals before
Fred Howald. in the Lucluww net,
suffering from a bruised knee,
recovered to stop, the attackers.
Locknow finished the scoring as
Mark,Frayne picked'up a pass from
Tom Sinnett for his fourth goal of
the game.
Ed MacDonald and Alex Irvin,
though not among the point
'getters, showed their ability to
skate and check during the entire
game.

Lucknow opened up a 4-0 lead on
goals by. Tom Sinnett from Eric
Cayley and by Rick Howalds
unassisted in the first period. Pat
Murray, assisted by Steve Hamil-
ton and Tom• O'Keefe, scored
unassisted before Mildmay got on
the score sheet , in the second
period. with '2 quick goal's by
Schrrialz. Mirk Frayne scored from
Cayley and Sinnett to put Lucknow
ahead 5-2. Mil

break the tie and win the game by a
9-8 score.
