There were a few anxious

decided that the time had come to

weather; with the : Kin1OSs roads
blocked from high winds and heavy
drifting snow.
Eric phoned his brother-in-law
.Jim Sutherland. of fticknow and
tasked him to meet him in
Whitechurch. Eric and Nikki, with
no chance. of getting the car
'through, travelled on a snowmobile
from their farm on the fourth of
*Moss, the former Bud. Sutton-
place, to Whitechurch, a distance
of about 3 miles.
Jim Sutherland, with a broken
foot from a. snowmobile accident,
and the cast still not applied, had
backup assistance from Grandma
and Grandpa, Mr. and Mrs; Jelle
de Jong of Lucknow, who went with
him about 11 p.m.
The visibility . was poor to
Wingham, but they encountered 'no
problems, 'met theexpeetant moth-
er at Whitechurch as plafined, and
continued on .to Wingham Hospital
where a daughter, Lori Ann, was
born on January 22, about four'
hours after the arrival at hoSpital.
