Plant of London, sister of the, bride.
She was gowned in 'a' floor-length
• dress of rust crepe Her dress Was
fashioned along eMpire lines With
stand up collar, lonesleeves and tie
back. ' Lace trim accented the
bodice and collar of the dress. She
carried a basket of yellow and White
daisies, ivy, bunny trees, and
strawflowers. •
Bridesmaids were Iprna.Boyle of
Lucknow, sister of the bride, Mary
Emberlin'of Lacknow, friend of the
bride and Lynn Foxton of Wing-
ham, , sister of ,the. groom. They
were gowned similarly to the
matron of honour, carrying similar
baskets of flowers. '
Shane Foxton of Whigham,
brother . of the' grciom,, was best
man. He wore a cltocolate brown
tuxedo, white shirt with.yelloW trim .
and a yellow carnation boutonnie-
re. The guests were ushered by
Paid Fleury ,of 'Kitchener, Tom
Irwineand Carl Mowbray, both of
Wingh am all. riends the gthoth.
They also wore chocolate brown
tuxedos and yellow carnation,
boutonniere's. The father of the
bride was also dressed similar to
the bestmah and . ushers.
Nancy ErringtOn of Winghain
was the soloist, accoMpanied by
Mary Ellen Havens of LucknoW.
She sang, "Let It Be Me" before
the procession and 'Were" during
the signing Of the register. 'Mary
Ellen provided traditional wedding
music before and during. the
ceremony.
Following the wedding the
dinner. was 'held in the United
Church parlor where the church
ladies provided and served a
delicious Meal. The mother' of the
bride received guests in a' full
length green and autumn shade
knit jersey gown with full sleeveS
front tie jacket. She wore .a corsage.
of white orchids and carnations.
She was assisted by the mother of
the .groom, whe was gowned in a
creme, jersey' knit dress with
matching full ;sleeved jacket. She
wore a corsage of white orchids and
. rust carnations. Francis Boyle of
Ripley, uncle of the bride, was,
master of ceremonies
The reception was held at the
Lucknow Legion Hall with. musie
provided by the Moran Brothers.
For a wedding trip to Ottawa and
*Northern Ontario the bride choSe a
calf lengthdress of blue knit jersey
with a creme shawl and corsage of
white carnatiens.
HOnoured guests were the
bride's maternal grandfather , Mr:
T. J. Salkeld of• Lucknow and the
groom's paternal grandmother
Mrs. Margaret Foxton of Wing-
ham. Other guests travelled from
Calgary, Ottawa, Kitchener, Lon-
don, Witigham, and Lucknow areas
to attend the , ceremony;
Following the honeYmoen the
couple are residing at R. 3
Wingham. The grooM is employed
at Douglas 'Point and the bride at
Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home.
