funeral of the late Garnet Farrier
on Saturday.
We are pleased to report that
Jerry Smith who is in hospital at
Hamilton undergoing tests has
improVed and' is now able to be up
at the_ hospital.
This community on Wednesday '
forenoon, received a . severe shock
when 'they, learned that' Garnet
Farrier had gone out to remove the
snow from his car and had not done
much when he 'went- down beside
the car. He was removed' by
ambulance to Wingham Hospital
where she had passed away on
arrival. An autopsy was held later
of Stratford revealing he had,
passed away due to a ruptured
heart. The community will miss
.Garnet for he was very active in all
walks of life - church, social,
musical where he educated young
folks to play different • • types of
musical instruments.
We were sorry to learn on
Saturday that Mrs. Georgie Well-

wood of Wingham had been taken
.from VVingham Hospital, by ambu
lance to University Hospital, Lon-
.don: This community wishes her a
speedy recovery. Mrs. Wellirood
was many years a resident of
Whitechurch community and later
of the village.
This community was sorry to
learn that Ira. Wall is a patient at St.
Joseph's Hospital, London. • Mr.

is expected he may be able to
