FREEDOM FOR

Picture a hillside all frosted with
snow, , • •
Look down at the 'valley agliStetting
below, •
Venture through a mysterious
woodland by night,
Out in the open the. warmth of a fire,
'burning. bright,
Dancing a little to heat up your
° bones',
A hot yuinmY*menu awaiting at the
end of your. trail, home;
Oh isn't it heaven to live 'here on
earth,
And isn't it freedom for whatever
it's worth.
A run was held on' Saturday'.,
January 10th. . Snowmobilers
travelled south along the Huron
Trail as far as the 12th of Ashfield,
then pack to an open fire and a
large pot of hot soup.
Trail conditions are of course
excellent and the turnout was alsO
very good. Chris Astle'sllarte was,

After the Lancers" missing two
games With Paisley and a stormy

real scoring spree againsto •Clinton
On Sunday night. •
tlintob jumped, into a two goal
lead in 'the first Minute with their
first two shots. Jim Frayne
steadied, down to play Very well by
the third period and , helped the
boys to get the win. This is one' of
the highest scoring games seen in
the arena for some time as both -
teams seem to throw defence aside
arid' go all out for 'scoring..
Jim Murray started and led the
scoring with four goals, Harvey ,
'Livingston had a hat gick, Steven..
Hackett 2, Dave MacKinnon, Art
Stanley, Ross'.Forster and GrahaM
Hamilton each had one.
• This output, along with some
bruising, checkg' by Pete Chishohn
held the Clinton team to only :ten
' goals. Final scare, was Lucknow
13, Clinton 10.
The boys shoWed they can score
goals. If they ;can tighten their
defence they will definitely be
contenders' come playoff time.'
On Friday night, the Lancers
hope to catch up, on one of the
cancelled games. Ori Sunday, Port
Elgin plays: Both' these ,will be
home games. •Coach Edwards feels
he has the team rolling now and
with some good lively fan support
can make a real surge .• at the
playoffs,
