Sunday School 'Chritmas Concert WROXETER—Tbe annual Sun-. day School Christmas'' conceit was held in the United Church school room on Wednesday evening, De- cember 18th and was well attended, despite inclement weather and icy roads. Due. to the -epidemic 'of mumps there was no' school concert "but, rather. than -distippoint the Young- sters, Mrs. Leslie DongIaS, teacher of the junior room, put on most of her numbers in conjunction with the S.S. program and: there Were a few numbers by the sen ior roam. Rev...W. S.''17. Buchanan acte* master of ceremonies and-the pre, gram was as 'follows: Welcoine, Brian 'Elliott; Joe Moore, Harvey Wheeler followed by a' chorus,• "Christmas Comes. Again" • and "The -First Christrrias". RecitatiOnS Were given by grade I girls, Marg aret Rose Wright, Jean Adams, Jeanie NeWton and Bonnie Elliott, "Merry Christmas Everybody," The juniors sang as choruses, "This' Little Gospel Light", and "The Christmas Art". The senior girls sang "Christmas Bells" and "Paii- est Lord Jesus". A dialogue followed "Telling the Story", and a, recitation by Joe 1Vtoore, "Santa's :Diet". Carol Lout- tit gave a piano solo and "Star Rays" was performed as a drill, The senior class sang the chorus "There's a Song in the Air", follow:, ed by recitations by Carry Cham- bers and Dale McLean, "Reindeer Bells" Was sung and "Christmas Doings" was presented by the 'sen- ior girls. i The dialogue, "Little Rebels", was given by the seniors, Brian Elliott, Wayne Sanderson, Jim Sharpin sti.ng ,,,"Sleep, My Little Jesus", and the' recitation, "I WO-uldn't Dare" was given by Jim Sharpin: Robert arid Faye Musgrove sang dopen Up Your Heart" as a dhoti and a solo "White Christmas" Wat sung by Ian Hoover, The closing, recitation was given by.
