The parents and friends joined thein at 7.30, when a concert was 'presented by the youngsters, under' the chairmanship of Rev. C. F. Jacqueline Saint;, Alma Jane Elliott and, Brtepda Tian each gave readings and solos were sung by Brian MacKay and Barbara Hall, Patricia and , Dianne` Deyell and Wendy Cronkwright and Alma, Jane Elliott sang, duets. During the evening Marilyn Higgins played two piano selections. The ,,bpginriers class, with their teacher, Miss Patricia Deyell at the piano, sang "Away in a Man- ger". Mrs. Norman Deyell's prim- ary girls presented an. exercise in recitation and the primary boys, whose teacher is Miss Karen Swanson, performedd a similar number. The junior choir, under the dir- ection of Mrs. Gordon Davidson sang "Silver I3ells", and Mrs, Nor- man Cronkwright's class of junior boys sang "Silent Night". ' The senior 'hoys and girls pre- sented a skit, ,"Sudaen Riches". Mrs. CI: F. Johnson and. Ben Keats are the teachers of the 'senior classes. Members of the A.Y.P.A. took part in three blackout skits, Christmas carols were sung at intervals during the program, Miss Pat Deyell and Mrs. Davidson sup plied 'the accompaniment for the carola,and Musical numbers. Santa Claus arrived amid cheer;; and applause from the children and was assisted In distributing candy and oranges by Alvin Rig- gins and Norman Cronkwright. The white gifts that were dona- ted have been sent to Godbrich where they will be distributed by' the Children's Aid Society.
