Elects Officers
WHITECHURCII-The W.M,S. of
Brick United Church held their
annual meeting at the home of Mrs.
Ronald Coultes on Wednesday last
with 16 ladies and ieven children
present. Mrs. Alex Robertson pre-
sided and gave a reading, "Christ-
mas Spirits". The Scripture pas-
sage was read in unison from Luke
2 and Mrs, Norman. Coultes read
several pperns- on the theme, "The
Star of Hope Still Rises". Mrs.
Robertson, Mrs, Lawrence Taylor,
Mrs. Gilbert Beecroft, Mrs. Norman
Coultes and Mrs. Sidney 'Thomp-
son joined in the candle-lighting
service and Mrs. Robertion led in
prayer.
Mrs. Norman Coultes, president,
presided for the business meeting.
Mrs. Mason Robertson, convener of
the nominating committee, brought
in the folloWing ,Slate of officers,
which was accepted, and dully in-
stalled: Pres., Mrs. Norman Coul-
tes; first vice-pros., Mrs. Gilbert.
