given by Mrs, W. J. V, Buchanan,
Mrs, Gilbert Howes read a poem
on "Lighting 'the First Christmas
Tree" by Martin Luther.
An exchange of Christmas gifts
from a gaily decorated tree fol-
lowed and Mrs. Harvey Timm
thanked all who had helped make
the meeting a success. The meet-
ing closed with singing. "God Save
the Queen".
The hostesses were Mrs, C.:Cath-
ers, Mrs. 3'. Simnrons Mrs. W.
Taylor.

W.A. entertained their husbands
at a turkey supper, carried out in
a Christmas, theme, complete -with,
tree, last Friday night,
Mr& Wm. Hart, president, wel-
comed the husbands and,,ali those
present. All sat down to a delic-
ious supper.

Christmas, its meaning and mem-

A geography game was played
and a contest was held for the
married men, which proved quite
humorous. An enjoyable evening
was spent by the goodly number
