A, D. MacWilliam said that the
examination of a report on the op-
eratien of the school cafeteria 'in
dicated a deficit of about $300 a
month; He. slid "that -since almost
300 meals wern being served every
school day the board shoUld take N.
action to. cover the cost of food,
and he recommended raising the
price of the meal to 35c for a trial
period, to see hoW it would work
out, After discussion it was agreed
that the price of meals' would be
. increased to 35c from the begin-
ning of next year, -
A letter was read from assistant
agricultural representative of Hur-
on County, A. S. Bolton, advising
the board that as sponsor of the
Wingham 4-H Forestry. Club, it
was hoped that the board would
pay prize money amounting to
$22.50,' The board was also invited .
to attend the annual Achievement
Night which is to be held at the
school. on Friday, December 5th.
