Silver Wedding
GORRIE—Mr. and Mrs. Alex Tay-
lor were pleasantly surprised on
the occasion of their 25th wedding
anniversary when relatives and
friends gathered at their home to

dress of congratulations and Mrs,
W. Carson presented the couple
with a silver tea service, silver
dish and tray, The family gave the
parents a televiSion set. Many
cards and expressions 04 good
wishes were also received, The re-,
ciplents made a fitting reply and
the .evening was spent in music,
games and social chat. A. delight-
ful lunch was served to over 60
guests.
Mr. and Mrs. Taylor have been
life-long residents •of the commu-
nity. They have one sea. Bill, at
horne,and Miss Ruby of London.
Their many friends in the dis-
trict will join in 'wishing them
many more years of happy anni-
versaries.

Chas. Finlay caught her heel on
the step and fell, •breaking her leg
above the knee. She was taken to.
