VALUABLE BULL SHOT BY BIERS WHITECHURCI;I - Thos. Inglis of. West Wawanoalt, was dismayed a week ago, to , find, oa looking over his cattle on his pasture farm, across the road from Ile home farm; that his 3 -year-old A.berdeen- Ahgus' bull had been s'lfot through the- head by a hunter, Someone had come down from the highway on Saturday afternoon, presumably hunting for deer, and ' shot the animal, for which Mr. Inglis had paid 3300 before he was a year old.' Police have been unable to trace the hunter. This is one of the reasons farm- ers oppose an open season for deer, when hunters,` with govern- ment license to iliunt, can come on a farm, and cause such heavy losses, and just disappear, without recognition •and without .compen- sation, Y WHITECI1URGEi_ Mr. and Mrs, Cameron Simnums and Nancy of London, spentthe week -end at the Martin home and with Mr. and Mrs. 3.
