Intermediate team moved a step closeri'to the WOAA Intermediate ° "A" championship when they edged the Tavistock boys 8+7 in the town park here on Saturday, night to 'put Wingham in the lead by three straight wins.' The -Tavistock team had not taken a game in the best of seven series: Walt Brown fired 'eight -hit ball' and struck out nine.. Wingham committedtwo errors: Faber was, on the mound for the ' Tavistock squad, giving up eight - hits and striking out five. Tavistock had one misoue.
