Have fun! • LIONS FRONTIER DAYS THIS WEEK
Join in the Fun
As president of the Wingham
Lions Club I would like to take
this opportunity of akin, every-
one to join in the goOd 'fun of
FrontierDayf celebrations,
I would like to ask the merch-
ants of the town .16, feature in their
vindows special n"FrontierP dis-
plays wherever possible.
Since preparations or the threer
day event are well under way 6
the time of writing, 'and it is ex-
pected that this week canvassers
will be calling an local merchants
for their continued loyal _support,
it would, be perhaps •fitting if I
mentioned the wonderful, help we
have had in the past from so
many of the townspeople, business-
es and organizatibns.Without :this
assistance it would be impossible
for •the Lions Club to continue
Frontier Days.
' I should also like to take this
opportunity' of thanking all those
who are at present busily engaged
building floats for, the event and
to the farmers who in the past
have loaned horses and other live-
stock to brighten up the parades
and lend, an old-time atmosphere to
the celebrations..
