Mrs. Athol - Bruce, of Belgrave,
when their youngest daughter,
Meta Lenore Bruce, was united in
marriage to Gordon Harold Ross,
eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Ross, R.R. 2, Wingham..
The ceremony was performed:
beneath an arch of evergreen and'
mauve phlox by the Rev." Ti, T,
Colvin of Belgrave Presbyterian

The bride, who was given in mar-
riage by her father, looked .charm--
ing in a strapless waltz -length
white gown of nylon net with 'in-
serts of Chantilly lace "over satin
and crinoline with fitted lace bod-
ice and a bolero jacket with long;
lily -point
sleeves.
Her elbow -length French illusion
veil was held in place by a tiara
of irridescent sequins and . seed
pearls, She carried'. a white Bible,
which
was topped as • pp d with American
Beauty roses, fern and .streamers
of stephanotis.
Miss Lillian Bruce, sister of the
bride, as bridesmaid, chose a nylon
sheer over ,taffeta waltz length
gown. of Canary' yellow, featuring
a, shirred bodice With .V back and
stole streamers and a matching
head band of daisies. She carried
a cascade bouquet of mauve mums.
Mr. Jack Jghnston, 'London,
cousin of the groon'ir attended as
best man.
Following the ceremony a recep-
tion was held for the immediate
families where the bride's mother:
received dressed in pale pink nylon
over taffeta .With white accessor-
ies and a corsage of white . carna-
tions, The groorrz's mother wore
carded dark red 'taffeta, black ac-
cessories and a corsage of White
carnations:
For a. wedding trip to .Jasper and
the Pacific coast the bride chose,
an orchid figured 'nylon, sheer!
dress with matching feather band,
White •accessoz+ies and •,»corsage of
yellow hums..
" On their return the young couple'
will reside in Toronto,, Where the
groom is employed with the Cana.
