T, Lapp, with eight members present. After repeating the 4-H pledge and motto the roll call was answered by a garden vegetable which required thinning. The third meeting was planned for one of the last Saturdays in July. The secretary read the minutes of the last meeting which vvere adopted as read. Following an interesting discussion on worm and pest control the leader 'show- ed the girls the correct method of cooking vegetables WI Means Of picturea Since this was the time for thinning, transplanting, etc., each One of the members had a chance to thin or tranaplant One vegetable.
